The Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital's Intensive Critical Care Unit (ICCU) provides essential care for our community's most vulnerable patients. With 10 beds, we served 1,604 patients in fiscal year 2023, and now, we're embarking on a crucial journey to elevate our care even further.
Project Goal:
Our mission is clear - to raise funds for the modernization of SNMH's ICCU. We aim to reach our fundraising goal by December 31, 2024. Construction will begin in 2025 ensuring that our facility remains at the forefront of healthcare excellence.
Hospital Need:
The upgrade of our ICCU is imperative. By enhancing functionality, efficiency, and aesthetics, we not only improve patient care but also boost nursing efficiency and enhance the overall experience for all involved. Additionally, we will invest in upgrading our telemetry monitoring system, further solidifying our commitment to cutting-edge healthcare.
Over the past few years, the SNMH Foundation has been dedicated to modernizing critical care access at our hospital. In 2020, we completed the transformation of the Emergency Department and updated the technology in the Surgery Department. Currently, we are resurfacing the helipad for life flights and upgrading the telemetry system in the ICCU. These enhancements will ensure that all critical care access points are fully prepared to serve our community.
