Meet our incredible Board President, Heather Thorpe! Joining us in 2021, Heather officially took the helm as President in 2024.As a certified financial planner with Edward Jones, Heather's passion for positively impacting lives drives her dedication to our mission – and it shines through! She's been a force for good in Nevada County since 1993, serving on numerous non-profit boards including Rotary, P.E.O, InConcert Sierra, Hospice of the Foothills, and Soroptimists.

Beyond her service, Heather loves family time (41 years with her sweetheart, 3 kids, 1 granddaughter!), traveling and connecting with nature in the Sierra Buttes or the CA coastline.

We're so excited to have Heather leading the SNMH Foundation for another year in supporting quality healthcare! Thank you, Heather!
