Sandra Barrington, CFRE - Bio

Executive Director, SNMH Foundation

Sandra Barrington, CFRE, serves as the Executive Director of the Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation. With more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit development, she has been a member of the Foundation team since 2007, serving as Executive Director for the past four years. Sandra earned a degree in English and a certificate in Editing and Publishing from California State University, Chico. Her career in fund development began in university and museum fundraising, as well as contract grant writing.

Deeply involved in her community, Sandra is active in the Grass Valley Rotary and serves as President of the Board of Trustees for the Nevada City School District. She is a graduate of both the Nevada County Leadership Institute and the Center for Nonprofit Leadership's Executive Director Academy. Outside of work, Sandra and her family enjoy golfing, skiing, attending soccer matches, and supporting the many community events that local nonprofits have to offer.
