Our support groups offer a safe, compassionate, and informative space for patients, survivors, caregivers, and those grieving to connect, share, and find strength in community. Explore our diverse offerings below:


Writing to Heal: A Journey of Self-Discovery

For anyone whose life has been touched by cancer.

Unleash the power of your pen and creativity as a profound tool on your path to healing. This supportive and confidential group offers basic writing tips, spontaneous exercises, and lively, insightful discussions. While you're invited to share your thoughts and feelings, there's never any pressure to do so.

  • Format: Six-week courses, in-person

Prostate Cancer Support Group

A dedicated space for men navigating prostate cancer to share experiences, gain insights, and find peer support.

  • When: 4th Thursday of each month, 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM

SNMH Community Cancer Center G.A.T.E. Grief Support Group

For those who have lost someone close due to cancer.

Navigating the profound grief that comes with losing a loved one to cancer can be isolating. This group offers a compassionate environment to process your loss and connect with others who understand.

  • When: Tuesdays, 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM

Specifically for women living with cancer.

Connect with other women who truly understand the unique challenges and experiences of a cancer diagnosis. This group provides a supportive environment for sharing, learning, and finding strength together during this stressful period.

For the dedicated caregivers of cancer patients.

Caring for someone with cancer can be demanding. This group provides essential support, valuable information, and practical self-care guidance for family members and friends of cancer patients.

SNMH Harp Therapy Support Group

Open to anyone affected by cancer, including patients, family caregivers, and those with a cancer history.

Discover the therapeutic and healing power of music and friendship. No musical experience is necessary! Each group member receives a small Celtic harp to play at home and share with others during sessions.

Butterflies & Roses Cancer Support

Butterflies & Roses Cancer Support is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate, complimentary beauty support. Primarily serving women, they address the physical and emotional impacts of cancer.

Services provided include: hair cuts, head shaves, hair color, make-up consultations, complimentary wigs, and wig care guidance.
