What: Join us for a powerful Savvy Women Talk featuring Woniya Thibeault. Woniya is a local author, educator, outdoorswoman, and entrepreneur. While she had been teaching wilderness, ancestral, and traditional skills for decades, she is best known for her two appearances on The History Channel's popular unscripted and self-filmed survival television show Alone. She did her home town region of Nevada County proud by becoming the first woman to win this challenging survival competition, which also allowed her to purchase 94 beautiful acres outside of Nevada CIty. Through her business, Timeless Ways LLC, she teaches wilderness survival, homesteading and off-grid living skills, traditional crafts, and more. Her book, Never Alone, A Solo Arctic Survival Journey, chronicles her journey on Alone Season 6 where she spent 73 days living off the land in the far north as winter set in. Through her speaking and book readings, she shares messages of healing, belonging, and the transformative powers of gratitude.
