In this two-hour class, learn the basics of how to prevent diabetes onset, and how to live your best life with diabetes. We will discuss what diabetes is, as well as specifics like A1C, blood sugar control, nutrition, personal care, exercise, and stress. March 13, 6:00-8:00 PM.Class instructor is Janet Moore, MS, RD, CDE. Cost is $20 per person. (one support person per participant is welcome)

This six-week class is designed to take you "deeper" into the myriad of lifestyle changes that are suggested for healthy living with diabetes. It is appropriate for persons living with diabetes and pre-diabetes. Topics include: blood sugar monitoring, medications, exercise, preventing complications, healthy food choices and stress reduction. Thursdays, March 2-April 6, 6:00-8:00 PM. Class instructor is Janet Moore, MS, RD, CDE. Cost is $120 per person.

This is an introductory class reviewing Alzheimer's Disease and related types of dementias. We will discuss a proper diagnosis, the symptoms, behaviors, treatment, and progression of memory impairment diseases. Learn about the resources available in our community and how to access support and services. Ideal for caregivers and individuals interested in Alzheimer's resources. April 19, 6:00-8:00 PM. Class instructors are Renee Chevraux, MSW and Judith Kautz, LCSW. Cost is $10 per person.
