Covid-19 Handmade Facemasks, Caps

Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Handmade Facemask Donation Process:

We want to thank the amazing number of people wishing to make masks for our hospital. All of the masks are being used by grateful hospital staff. While there patterns out there for masks used specifically in direct patient care situations, this mask pattern is meant for ancillary hospital employees and other hospital needs that do not involve direct patient care.

If you want to use your own fabric, that is fine, but we ask that the fabric be tight-knit. Cotton works very well. We would also ask that masks be washed prior to delivery.

Please email kimberly.parker1@dignityhealth.org when you have finished your mask. Finished masks may be dropped off at the SNMH Foundation office at 140 Litton Drive, Suite 220, Grass Valley between 1-5 Monday – Friday. Please put masks into a ziplock bag or another bag that can be closed somehow. Include a note with the number of masks, your name, address and phone (in case there are questions).

We are incredibly grateful to our community for your assistance.
